I then tried adding several people as friends from the leaderboards but challenges still were not appearing. I tried adding my main profile and playing a few brief Marathon and Endless games (finishing intentionally with low scores- maybe 2000-4000), which resulted in challenges being shown in that profile's feed, but they were not showing up on the second profile. In playing through the game recently on a second profile, I could not get friend feed challenges to show up- the feed was only showing some random achievement-related badges. There are two badges that require completing one and five of these challenges (the same one can be done five times) but there can be an issue with getting friends' challenges to show up. The Challenge Feed can be accessed from the Play menu or from the Progress menu and is intended to show challenges set by friends. To move the current piece into the hold queue (swapping if a piece is already there) Challenge Feed Controlsįor horizontal movement, hard drop, and soft drop Marathon, Sprint, Ultra, and Endless modes can be played Solo, Versus, Team Versus, or Co-op. Battle Ultimate: Similar to Battle mode but adds random powerups that are triggered by clearing lines with special pieces.Battle: A multiplayer competitive mode where garbage lines are sent to oppponents with multi-line clears.Endless: A version of Marathon mode that goes on beyond 150 lines, only ending if you lose.Ultra: A timed game where have 3 minutes to score as much as possible.Sprint: A timed game where you race to clear 40 lines. You can start anywhere from level 1 to 15. Marathon: The standard game mode that ends when you reach 150 lines. Uplay: Connect to Ubisoft's service that offers special unlocks and rewards. Options: Adjust Gameplay, Video, and Audio settings (in gameplay settings, I suggest increasing the next queue to show 4 pieces).Progress: See your Stats, Badge and Achievement progress, Leaderboards, and the Challenge Feed.Play: Choose your game mode and set up your party (if needed). The tabs across the top are the four menu sections. Increases by one with every 10 lines cleared. Level: The speed at which pieces fall into place.Soft drop: Slowly lower the active piece into place by holding.Hard drop: Dropping the active piece into place immediately by pressing. The combo starts with the second line cleared, so a 3 combo, for example, requires clearing a line with four consecutive pieces. Combo: Clearing multiple lines with consecutive pieces dropped.Note that you do not have to clear a line but you must get the "T-spin" notification for it to count. T-Spin: A special move done using the purple "T" piece that requires a specific setup and rotating it after it is dropped into position.Back to Back Tetris: completing two Tetris line clears consecutively (requires two consecutive drops of the "I" piece).Tetris: Clearing 4 lines at once (can only be done with the "I " piece). This prevents long strings of the same piece and also makes it so that you can never go more than 12 pieces between two of the same piece. Often referred to as the bag system, each of the seven pieces is generated randomly and then this process is repeated. Random Generator: The standardized system used to generate pieces.Tetromino: The seven blocks in the game, also referred to as "pieces.".
